What we expect

Your tasks

• Design, modify and optimise equipment from existing product portfolio.
• Develop new efficient and sustainable concepts and solutions.
• Discuss and provide input to technical solutions with Technical Advisors, Product Owners and Discipline Managers.
• Deliver designs on budget, time and quality.
• Report progress, identify project risk and suggest mitigating actions.
• Assist in the tender phase (read and comment on customer specifications, highlight deviations, and produce required documentation).
• Perform electrical calculations and analyse existing systems to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions.
• Configuring and testing drive applications to ensure proper and safe operation including troubleshooting any problems that arise during commissioning phase.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering as well as class requirements, international standards, and country regulation regarding product design.
• Communicate technical deliveries both internally and externally.
• Participate in controlling technical documentation.
• Be able to take on the Engineering Lead role in projects.
• Advise and guide other engineers, acting as a mentor in your area of expertise.
• Provide internal and external technical support.
• Demonstrate excellent work ethic.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager (including flexibility for travel if required up to 30%).
